Hindola does not move any windows

Grant Accessibility access: open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Accessibility, and switch Hindola on. If it is already on but nothing happens, switch it off and on again, then restart Hindola.

Another window manager is running

Two window managers fight over the same windows. Quit the other one, or turn it off in its settings. Hindola's setup check lists the ones it finds.

Stage Manager

Stage Manager also rearranges windows, so Hindola pauses while it is on and carries on when you turn it off (Control Center, or System Settings, then Desktop & Dock).

"Displays have separate Spaces"

This setting is in System Settings, then Desktop & Dock, then Mission Control. If windows jump between displays, try switching it off, then log out and back in. The setup check in Hindola tells you if it matters on your Mac.

Getting windows back

Quit Hindola and every window returns to where it was. To stop Hindola without quitting, press Control-Option-Shift-P to pause. Press it again to resume.

Logs

Logs are in ~/Library/Logs/Hindola/swipe.log. Attach the file if you write to us.
